Real Bride Rhianna Festival Wedding

A Festival Wedding

After spending many years attending festivals together, Rhianna and Michael had a very clear vision of what they wanted for their wedding day.  A full festival vibe, including Tipi, festival flags and firepit.

It all felt very serendipitous when they found Newlands Bishop Farm in Solihull. It is a charity run venue that could cater for the tipi’s and evening entertainment outside; and with both Rhianna and Michael’s mums both having worked in the care sector for those with learning disabilities it felt right.

Rhianna, being local to me in Birmingham, came to visit me in my studio and we had a long chat about her wedding, chosen colours and style she wanted for herself.  Rhianna was very keen to pull the festival theme through to her outfit and accessories, hair flowers had to be the choice.

The Clematis hairpins are very versatile, and work for so many styles of weddings. It was a pleasure making them for Rhianna, and she popped back to the studio to collect them when they were ready.

They hired the venue for the whole weekend and made it a family affair decorating and setting up the tipi’s. They even had a barbeque breakfast for all the overnight guests on the Sunday morning after the wedding.

The wedding colours were blush pink, green and gold and Rhianna carried these tones through from the decorations to the wedding flowers, favours and bridesmaid dresses.

With Festival flags, bale sofa’s, a fire pit and of course friends and family, what more could you want.
