Real Bride Dominique Country House Wedding

A Country House Wedding

Dominique contacted me after she had fallen in love with her wedding shoes at Rachel Simpson;  She then spotted my accessories in her show room.  She had been planning her wedding with her fiancé Nick at Pendrell Hall in Staffordshire, and had chosen her wedding dress which was a champagne silk with ivory lace overlay from Allure Bridals.

Having originally considered gold accessories we talked about whether an antique silver would be better. Dominique had always favoured silver jewellery and wanted something that would work with her dress and shoes.  The Clematis design was chosen (always a favourite among brides), and I customised it with antique silver wire, ensuring that the cream pearl elements stood out. I knew this style would look gorgeous with her dress and chosen wedding colours. The pins could also be worn with her veil which would sit underneath the headdress.
Dominique and Nick brought their own unique homemade style into the wedding by designing their own stationery, table settings and wedding favours. They wanted a classic style wedding with a vintage feel and chose a blush and cream colour scheme.

This was all reflected in her choice of bridesmaids dresses, and flowers. Her stunning bouquet was filled with blush and cream roses, wax flowers, love in a mist and fragrant eucalyptus leaves. How gorgeous are these flowers!

With all the smaller details sorted and made, the venue provided the romance and most of the decoration with it’s ornate and decorative oak panelling and period features.

Throughout the whole planning process, and seamlessly into the wedding, only one thing was really important – family!  With their twin sons by their side they had the most wonderful day with all the family and friends and I know it will be a day for them to cherish forever.

Dominique and Nick chose Becky Harley as their photographer and all these amazing images are by her:  www.beckyharleyphotography.co.uk
