My 2022 Bridal Hair Accessories Collection
Image ~ Emma Pilkington Photography
This is a small, but significant collection for me. I started this collection 2 years ago, at the beginning of the pandemic, after re-discovering some wonderful old photographs of family and friends.
Growing up, a visit to my grandparents meant meeting up with their closest friends and summer trips in to the North Yorkshire moors. They cared for some bee hives there and we’d usually go for a long walk and help collect the honey, to return to their garden in Snainton. I loved eating it fresh surrounded by sweet peas, and trailing roses. And there was always an abundance of bees, butterflies and other flying insects dropping in.
So, this latest collection is a real reflection of those special memories with some of my favourite people. Long gone now, but will always be with me.
And I can’t write about this collection without mentioning the abundance of pearls in it. I’ve mentioned before that my Grandmother gave me her pearl necklace which I wore on my own wedding day, and I felt it was the perfect collection to celebrate them, so you’ll see a lot of pearls.
So do let me know if you have some favourites in here. I can’t choose between them, I love them all. There are hairpins that will work in any updo. Crowns that can be worn with short hair, or even hair down. I’ve created a small selection of simple jewellery too, with elegance in mind.
Why not check out the full new collection here x
