Bespoke bridal hair comb for bride Lyn – An emotional connection

I have to say, I do love a customisation or bespoke order.  It’s a great way to be creative, add some of the brides personality, and the best part is that my bride has an emotional connection to her accessory which makes it even more special. Lyn came to me because she loved my accessories and wanted to have a bespoke bridal hair comb for for her wedding.

Lyn got in touch with me recently to discuss a headdress that she wanted for her wedding later this summer. I had the most gorgeous Eliza Jane Howell wedding dress as my inspiration and as it was heavily beaded with crystals, she wanted to incorporate these into the headdress.

Her chosen hairstyle was to be soft curls and pinned to one side, which would be decorated with a hair comb.  With her dark hair and decision to wear silver accessories because her dress has silver thread through it, she knew she wanted to try on silver accessories. 

So with these details in mind, and a visit to try on my accessories, Lyn chose ‘Rambling Rose’ with elements of crystals and diamante replacing the pearls.  She wanted to keep the softness and whimsy of the flowers, but without any pearls – to reflect the sparkle in her dress. As her hair would be down, Lyn was keen to have just a single comb to the design.

We decided on the customised design and I have to say I do love how the Rambling Rose still has it’s classic styling with it’s ivory coloured flowers, and I knew it would sit so beautifully framing the side of Lyn’s face and hairstyle.
