Bespoke bridal headdress and bridesmaid combs for bride breeshey
I met Breeshey after she got in touch regarding a bespoke request for a floral bridal comb, and matching bridesmaid combs. I had made a beautiful wedding halo for her sister’s wedding a few years before.
We had a great chat about her wedding and how she and her partner were having a fabulous tipi wedding in the grounds of an old manor.

The gown and bridal style details
She had chosen a bridal gown that was very simple in its design. A pure white dress, with a pretty lace back and train. She wanted to use her mothers veil, and to have the bridal comb attached to it. Her preference was to wear her hair half up and half down, so the comb was a perfect companion for her hair style.
She had envisioned a design that had the style and handmade flowers of the Rambling Rose hair vine, but with the fullness of the Mayflower comb . Keen to add some rose gold touches to match her pearl necklace, I set to work on a sketch.

bees in the wedding headdress design
Being a member of a local sports team with a bee reference, Breeshey very much wanted to reflect that in her headdress, and asked if I could add some little silver bees into the overall design. I was delighted – I do like popping bees in my designs.

We can’t leave the bridesmaids out
Once the bridal comb was made, I set to work on the bridesmaid headdresses. Echoing elements of the brides headdress into the bridesmaids design, I created 3 smaller silver flower combs.
